Retreat week, April 25-May 2, 2010

I am on retreat this week at St. Teresa's Motherhouse, Germantown, NY. At dailymile, my total miles logged is now over 50 miles. Yesterday I did my first 5k walk. I also took pictures.

I am on a directed retreat with the Carmelite Fathers, meaning that I meet with a director once a day. We have Mass at 3:30pm every day in our chapel during our retreat. It has been a relaxing week. I have been able to get out for a walk every day, so I am pleased with that. The grounds here are beautiful.

This is where I made my novitiate so many years ago. This year was the 30th anniversary of my first profession, April 14th.

My Social Media Goal

On one of my posts on Daily Mile, I was asked, "What are your goals?"

My social media goal is to help spread the word about cluttering speech, my communication disorder.

Visit my Facebook group, "Cluttering speech" which I founded in March 2009:

I contributed a paper on the Facebook group to the first Online Conference on Cluttering:

My other goals: I'm thinking about them!

2010 Online Conference on Cluttering,
the Speech Disorder

I am a person who clutters in my speech, paired with difficulty in language.

The 2010 Online Conference on Cluttering has started! I contributed a paper on my Facebook group, Cluttering speech. It is quite a significant event in my life, contributing a paper to the online conference.

I also created a Facebook Fan page for the conference itself. Become a Fan!

(The conference goes from April 14 to May 5, 2010.)
